3rd NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FRONTIERS IN MODERN PHYSICS (NCFMP 2021)
Organised by
Department of Physics, School of Basic and Applied Sciences
Adamas University
West Bengal, India
In the present era of globalization, the competitive products require key ingredients such as innovative features, rapid developments, continuous upgrades and technological and research developments. To achieve this goal, it is important to develop and use innovative ideas and techniques in designs and incorporate the same in the growth of physical science and engineering. Currently, intensive research is being carried out using theoretical, computational and experimental approaches. New developments have led to dynamic advances during recent years. The objective of this conference is to bring the scientists, academicians, and researchers, in the field of Physical Sciences on a common platform to exchange ideas and their recent findings related to latest advances and applications.
The Scientific Conference on Physical Sciences is the primary forum for the presentation of new developments and research results in the frontiers of Physics. The conference aims to bring together leading academicians, scientists, researchers and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Physical Sciences.
Department of Physics, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Adamas University organizes National Conference on Frontiers in Modern Physics, which covers multi-disciplinary fields in Science and Engineering. At present it is imperative that a good research work needs collaboration with expertise in different field. Keeping it in mind, Department of Physics, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, is organizing NCFMP 2021 during 26-27 November 2021.
Adamas University is established under the Adamas University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act IV of 2014) with a sprawling green campus extending over 120 acres, nestled in Barasat, Kolkata (13 kms away from the Subash Chandra Bose International Airport Kolkata). With a focus on multidisciplinary research, education and a learning model that emphasizes active learning, Adamas University (AU) aspires to be globally known for education, research and innovation at the intersection of disciplines. The University has many international initiatives collaborating with the industries and educational institutes to facilitate projects, research and student exchange programs. The University has been established with the vision of providing quality education to students to help them become professionally competent as well as academically knowledgeable under the 10 Schools of Studies.
Located in the scenic green campus of Adamas University, Kolkata, the Department of Physics started its activity in 2015. Vision of the Physics department is to lay the foundational stone of excellence and spur development of the University as a premier institution in the field of Physics. The department is an active beehive of research being carried out in the wide variety of frontier areas as well as high quality Under-graduate, Post-graduate and Doctoral programmes. The research programme of the department cover both pure and applied physics like Condensed Matter Physics, Particle Physics, Biophysics, Theoretical Nano-Science, Material Science, Plasma Physics, Bio-Medical Instrumentation, Electronics, Applied Electronics, Thin Film etc.
Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in Physical sciences. Papers are requested to be submitted to facilitate the oral presentations as well as poster presentations. Authors are requested to send one-page abstract as well as the full paper submission
