(Tech.) in Statistics and Data Science programme aims to produce postgraduates with specialized in data science. The present program will provide opportunity to develop practical skill sets. The student will also develop an in-depth understanding related to core concepts of Statistics, computer science and Data Science with their applications. The programme also emphasis of rigorous statistical theory with wider hands-on practical experience of applying statistical models to data along with  understanding of statistical inferences, time series analysis and their application in data analysis using statistical software R.

The programme also enhance the ability to formulate suitable statistical models for new problems, fit these models to real data and correctly interpret the results.

Minimum 50% Aggregate in 10 +2 or equivalent from any recognized board and Minimum 50% aggregate in Undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognised University in India or abroad in respective subject
