ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF FORENSIC SCIENCE:

Located in the scenic green campus of Adamas University, Kolkata, the Department of Forensic Science started its activity in 2020. The vision of the department is to lay the foundational stone of excellence and spur development of the University as a premier institution in the field of Forensic Science. The department is an active beehive of research being carried out in a wide variety of frontier areas as well as high quality Undergraduate, Post-graduate and Doctoral programmes. The research programme of the department covers multi-domain of Forensic Science like Physical Forensics, Chemical Forensics, Biological Forensics, Digital Forensics, Criminalistics etc.

ABOUT CENTRAL FORENSIC SCIENCE LABORATORY (CFSL), KOLKATA:

The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Kolkata, under the Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is a premier forensic science laboratory contributing to the criminal justice system through scientific examination, investigation support, research, training and capacity building in diverse forensic disciplines.

CALL FOR PAPERS:

FORENEX 2026 invites academicians, researchers, forensic scientists, research scholars, practitioners, law-enforcement professionals, industry experts and students from India and abroad to submit original research papers and review articles addressing the rapidly evolving landscape of next-generation forensic science.

The conference provides a multidisciplinary platform for sharing innovative research, emerging technologies, advanced methodologies, case studies, technical developments and professional experiences that contribute to the advancement of forensic science, criminalistics and evidence-based justice.

Contributions are invited for Oral and Poster Presentations from universities, forensic science laboratories, research and development organisations, government institutions, law-enforcement agencies, industry and allied professional organisations from India and abroad.

All submissions must be original and unpublished and should not be simultaneously under consideration for publication or presentation at another journal, conference or proceeding.

Authors are invited to submit a one-page abstract of not more than 300 words. The abstract should clearly present the Background/Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Key Findings/Results, Conclusion/Significance and 4–6 Keywords.

• The submitted work must be original and unpublished.
• The paper must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
