Dr. Vaskar Sarkar has joined Adamas University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science on 16th July’ 2018. He completed his B.Sc. (Mathematics Honours) and M. Sc (Statistics) with specialization in Advanced Operations Research from The University of Burdwan. Dr. Sarkar completed M. Tech. (Mathematics) with specialization in Operations Research in Industry and Business Management from National Institute of Technology Durgapur and Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He also has the Master of Information Technology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
His research interests focused on Chance constraint programming, Multi-echelon closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) model and Inventory control & production management.
He has published several research articles in various international peer reviewed journals.
Before joining Adamas University he has more than 15 years of progressive teaching experience of working with reputable Engineering and Management colleges of West Bengal.
