I, Dr. Monimala Nej Gayen joined Adamas University in the month of December, 2019 as an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics under School of Sciences. I completed my Bachelor studies from Midnapore College (under Vidyasagar University) and Master degree from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan. I qualified GATE in 2012. My doctoral degree from Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR, under the supervision of Dr. Satyanarayana Reddy (Thesis title: Exponents of Primitive Companion Matrices). After the doctoral research, I was engaged at College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat (July 2019-Dec. 2019) as a visiting faculty. I/we published 5 research papers in national/international peer reviewed journals till today.
