Dr. Rupam Sen

Dr. Rupam Sen, a distinguished research scholar with 20 years of experience, has joined Adamas University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. He completed his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University on MOF-based multifunctional materials, followed by prestigious postdoctoral fellowships including FCT (Portugal), JSPS (Japan), and a Senior Research Fellowship offer from Trinity College Dublin. Dr. Sen has published over 50 research articles and earned accolades such as the Dr. D.S. Kothari Fellowship, National Scholarship, and a Silver Medal. At Adamas, he is developing MOF-based heterogeneous catalysts and chiral molecular assemblies, supported by a DST-SERB ECR grant of ₹38 lakhs. He has set up a research lab on campus and actively mentors students, blending academic excellence with an approachable personality. Aspiring research scholars, summer trainees, and students are welcome to collaborate and grow under his guidance.

Dr. Indrani Ghosh

Dr. Indrani Ghosh is an accomplished academic with over eight years of experience in Environmental Science. She holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, focusing on microbial degradation of organic pollutants. Currently an Assistant Professor at Adamas University, her expertise spans environmental microbiology, wastewater engineering, biodiversity conservation, sustainability, and sustainable technologies. She has led funded projects and is part of an international collaboration with the University of York on indoor air quality monitoring. Dr. Ghosh has published extensively in reputed journals and book volumes and presented her work at national and international conferences. She is also engaged in curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic administration. Skilled in analytical techniques and environmental monitoring, she contributes actively to interdisciplinary research, sustainability initiatives, and outreach. She is a life member of the IIT Bombay Alumni Association.
