Dr. Diptasikha Das has graduated from Scottish Church College (University of Calcutta) in 2008, post-graduated from Presidency College (University of Calcutta) in 2010 and completed her Ph.D. from Rajabajar Science College (University of Calcutta) . She joined Adamas University in the year 2017.
Her research work deals with the synthesis and characterization of p-type thermoelectric material, viz., semiconducting and metallic Sb2Te3 and Sb2Te3-xSex material. She also studied the effect of defect concentration, Selenium concentration, temperature, different scattering mechanism and carrier concentration on structural parameters, resistivity, thermopower of Sb-Te-Se based materials. In addition, she also investigated the thermoelectric property of n-type Bi-Sb alloy and p-type (Bi1-xSbx)2Te3 alloys.
