I did my doctoral work in Bose Institute, Calcutta and got PhD degree in 2009 from Jadavpur University. After PhD, I moved to the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), TPCSF, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) for my post-doctoral work. There I was selected as CAS fellow for young foreign scientists. I spent 4 years from 2009 to 2013 in IHEP, CAS. Towards the end of 2013, I was selected for the Ramanujan Fellowship and also for the Senior Research Associateship (Scientists’ Pool Scheme). After returning to India in January 2014, I spent time in research activities in the Centre For Astroparticle Particle Physics and Space Sciences and Indo-FAIR coordination Centre. In August 2014, I joined the Department of Physics, Visva-Bharati as Ramanujan Fellow. I spent 4 years there as Ramanujan Fellow before joining Adamas University as Associate Professor.
