Specialization: Organometallic Chemistry, Heterogeneous Catalysis and supramolecular chemistry

An eminent research scholar, with 10 years of experience in  research, Dr. Rupam Sen has joined Adamas University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. Aftersuccessfully finishing his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata on MOF-based multifunctionalmaterials synthesis, he received the FCT-international postdoctoral fellowship, where he worked on the same field at Aveiro University, after finishing this he was awarded the prestigious fellowship JSPS (Japan Society for the promotion of Science), Japan and work there on the development of photo/thermo responsive materials which can be used as the potential actuator at molecular level. During his Ph. D. and post-doctoral research he published a lot of research articlesin journal of international repute. He also earned the prestigious Dr. D. S. Kothari post-doctoral fellowship, National Scholarship and Silver medal as meritorious student during his early studies. He is still actively engaged in research work and more will be executed in the Adamas University.  He is now developing hybrid systems for site specific MOF-based heterogeneous catalysis in Adamas University. He also has expertise reviewinginternational journals. Besides his outstanding academic and research, he is very amiable person which make him easy approachable forthe students. After all, Dr. Sen looks forward to encourage the Adamas University students not for only studying but also for social and cultural development, which will create a constructive and healthy atmosphere everywhere. Interested research fellows(Ph.D./post-doct), summer trainees and students are welcome to contact Dr. Sen.
