Dr. Satarupa Biswas joined Adamas University in February 2019 as an Assistant Professor of Physics in School of Science. She has done her B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from Siliguri Institute of Technology and M.Tech also in Biomedical Engineering from Jadavpur University. She has completed her PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and her area of research includes simulation studies, fabrication and characterization of thin film devices, in vitro electrical stimulation of retinal neurons, signal processing of evoked potentials. Being an IEEE graduate member, Satarupa was actively holding positions in the executive committee of IEEE student branch at IIT Kharagpur. She is eager to continue research in neural rehabilitation domain and also open for any academic or industrial collaboration to translate the research into reality. She is looking for students who are willing to participate in projects related to medical physics, bio-instrumentation and biosignal processing.
